This is RowStudio’s privacy statement. It describes what personal information RowStudio collects and how we handle that information.
In this privacy statement you can read all about how your personal information is collected and how it is handled. For example, it explains where your data is stored and for what purposes your data is stored. In addition, you will also find all your rights regarding your data and how you can make use of those rights. The privacy statement will sometimes be amended in connection with, for example, changes in the law. It is therefore advisable to consult this statement periodically.
You are currently reading the privacy statement of RowStudio. RowStudio is a boutique gym where (offline and online) group trainings are given around the rowing machine. The company is driven by BT Sports Concepts B.V.
There are situations in which your data is collected by RowStudio. It is therefore good that you know what is being done with your data and how you can make your wishes known to us. RowStudio processes personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest, namely a commercial interest. Think of offering services. Your data will never be sold to third parties.
RowStudio processes your personal data because you make use of our services and/or because you provide these data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:
- First name and surname
- Date of birth
- Address details
- Telephone number
- E-mail address
- Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence and by telephone.
- Information about your activities on our website
- Bank account number and/or credit card details.
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect information about website visitors under the age of 16. Unless they have parental or guardian permission. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16 years of age. We encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities in order to prevent the collection of information about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without that consent, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will delete that information.
RowStudio processes your personal data for the following purposes:
We use your contact information to inform you about our services, such as the cancellation of a lesson.
We use your financial information to process agreed payments.
We regularly send digital newsletters to inform you about our services or to notify you of information we think may be useful to you.
RowStudio also processes your data for the purpose of the online dashboard (to be launched in September 2020) where you can view the data of your workout(s) and set goals.
RowStudio does not make decisions on matters that could have significant consequences for you based on automated processing.
RowStudio will share your personal information with various third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement and to comply with any legal obligation. We enter into an agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. RowStudio remains responsible for these processes. These third parties are Mailchimp, Transip, Zingfit and Stripe.
The newsletters are sent with Mailchimp. When you sign up for the newsletter, your email address and name will automatically be saved in the appropriate list within Mailchimp.
The email from RowStudio is hosted at Transip. If you contact us via the forms or via mail, those mails will be stored on Transip’s servers.
4. Storage period
Your data will be stored by RowStudio for a longer period of time, but never longer than is necessary for the performance of activities, unless we are required by law to retain your data for a longer period of time. If you terminate your account at RowStudio or request us to do so by email, all your personal data will be deleted from our systems.
BT Sports Concepts B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you feel that your information is not properly secured or there are indications of misuse, please contact us via email@example.com.
BT Sports Concepts B.V. only uses technical and functional cookies. And analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone the first time you visit this website. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and for your ease of use. They ensure that the website works properly and remember, for example, your preferred settings. They also enable us to optimize our website. You can unsubscribe from cookies by setting your internet browser in such a way that it no longer stores cookies. 7. Your rights
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by RowStudio and you have the right to data transfer. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.
You can send a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or a request to withdraw your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to firstname.lastname@example.org. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Burgerservicenummer (BSN) black. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. We would also like to point out that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Personal Data Authority.
