This month is Amsterdam Pride. Time for a fun party, but also a time to take a moment to reflect on LGBT acceptance in our city. This is a poor state of affairs: less than half of Amsterdam schoolchildren say they accept homosexuality.
DIVERSITY & INCLUSIVITY
At RowStudio, we are shocked by the declining acceptance and we believe that action must be taken against this. Everyone should be able to be themselves and live their lives in the way they choose. That is everyone’s right, but moreover, we all benefit from a climate where everyone can get the best out of themselves.
PRIDE LAUNCH WORKOUTS
To draw attention to this theme, we start and end Amsterdam Pride with special Pride Launch workouts. We will do this on July 21 and August 4. For every participant in these workouts we will donate 3 euros to COC Amsterdam. They support for example young people in the field of sexual orientation gender identity.
SUPPORT THIS CAUSE
We also invite everyone to make a donation themselves. In this way we hope to contribute a little bit together to a climate in which everyone feels safe and welcome.
